Trump’s HUGE Promise to Evangelicals!

(TheProudRepublic.com) – Promising to enact a good change to propel our country forward, former President Donald Trump spoke to a group of evangelical and religiously inclined voters at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Road to Majority conference in Washington, D.C.

As Trump appeared on stage, the audience spontaneously cheered “U-S-A.” He then urged the crowd with a direct plea: “Go and vote, Christians, please!” according to the Associated Press.

Trump used this opportunity to voice his support for the Ten Commandments being visible in public schools.

This stance comes shortly after Republican Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry enacted a school choice law that requires the Ten Commandments to be displayed in public classrooms—a first for any state.

Trump criticized Democrats for opposing this measure and asked the audience about their thoughts on the matter.

The Republican candidate said, “Who likes the Ten Commandments going up in the schools?” His question was met with loud cheers and applause.

He added, “They think it’s such a bad thing. I said, ‘Thou shall.’ I mean, has anybody read this? Incredible stuff. It’s just incredible. They don’t want it to go up. It’s a crazy world.”

The conference also featured speeches from other prominent Republican figures including Virginia’s Governor Glenn Youngkin, South Dakota’s Governor Kristi Noem, and senators from Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, and South Carolina, among others.

The day before the conference, Trump voiced his enthusiasm for the Ten Commandments on Truth Social:

“I LOVE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PRIVATE SCHOOLS, AND MANY OTHER PLACES, FOR THAT MATTER. READ IT — HOW CAN WE, AS A NATION, GO WRONG??? THIS MAY BE, IN FACT, THE FIRST MAJOR STEP IN THE REVIVAL OF RELIGION, WHICH IS DESPERATELY NEEDED, IN OUR COUNTRY. BRING BACK TTC!!! MAGA2024”

Following his conference speech, Trump traveled to Philadelphia for a rally. Before his appearance, he stopped at Tony and Nick’s Steak and took photos with fans, whom he affectionately referred to as “his people.”

A video that went viral showed Trump’s interaction with a young boy who was dressed like him and visibly moved, said Trump’s deputy director of communications Margo Martin.

Trump also signed gold campaign sneakers for some law enforcement officers before he boarded “Trump Force One.”
