CNN Rudely Cuts Off Trump Spokeswoman! (Video)

(TheProudRepublic.com) – In a new demonstration of the vicious leftist bias against Donald Trump, CNN abruptly terminated a segment featuring Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for the former president, when she initiated criticisms against network anchor Jake Tapper.

CNN host Kasie Hunt had invited Leavitt to discuss expectations for the impending presidential debate between Trump and current President Joe Biden.

Leavitt asserted that Trump is “well-prepared” and aware that he is “knowingly going into a hostile environment on this very network, on CNN,” while she accused the debate moderators of biased reporting over the last eight years.

Hunt countered Leavitt’s claims of CNN’s bias against Trump, defending her colleagues after Leavitt had responded to her question.

Following a clip of Trump’s remarks about the debate, Leavitt shifted her focus to specifically criticize Jake Tapper and his historical comments about Trump.

“First of all, it would take someone five minutes to Google ‘Jake Tapper Donald Trump’ to see that Jake Tapper has…,” Leavitt began, before being interrupted by Hunt.

Leavitt brought up Tapper’s previous comparison of Trump to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, prompting Hunt to urge Leavitt to stay on topic concerning the debate.

“I am stating facts that your colleagues have stated in the past,” Leavitt said, before Hunt concluded the interview and CNN removed Leavitt from the broadcast.

Hunt later expressed that Leavitt is welcome to return to discuss Donald Trump, emphasizing on social media, “You come on my show, you respect my colleagues. Period. I don’t care what side of the aisle you stand on, as my track record clearly shows.”

“You cut off my microphone for bringing up the debate moderator’s history of anti-Trump lies. This proved our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly on Thursday. Yet he is still willing to go into this 3-1 fight to bring his winning message to the American people, and he will win,” Leavitt retorted.

Jake Tapper and CNN anchor Dana Bash are scheduled to moderate the debate on Thursday evening in Atlanta, Georgia.

This marks the first debate between Trump and Biden since the 2020 election cycle. The debate was arranged swiftly following exchanges between the candidates last month.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will not be participating in the debate.

“Jake Tapper and Dana Bash are well respected veteran journalists who have covered politics for more than five decades combined… There are no two people better equipped to co-moderate a substantial and fact-based discussion and we look forward to the debate on June 27 in Atlanta,” a CNN spokesperson said.
