(TheProudRepublic.com) – Former President Donald Trump shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift, calling her “unusually beautiful” and questioning whether she is truly “legitimately liberal” or if this is part of “an act.”
During an interview with Variety magazine co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh, Trump spoke about his thoughts regarding Swift, who has vocally opposed the former president.
Trump described Swift as “very beautiful,” adding, “I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented. I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful!”
He then pondered whether Swift’s liberalism is genuine or merely an act. “She is a liberal, or is that just an act?” Trump questioned. “She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.”
Furthermore, the global phenomenon has openly opposed Trump and supported Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
She also has been vocal about her criticisms of Trump, particularly after George Floyd’s death, accusing him of “stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism.”
She expressed her intention to vote him out in November 2020.
The singer has also participated in events with Biden and former President Barack Obama, which included a virtual gay pride celebration in June 2020.
Additionally, in August 2020, Swift condemned Trump’s handling of the United States Postal Service and accused him of trying to cheat and endangering Americans’ lives.
“Trump’s calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly,” Swift wrote in a social media post.
“He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president. He’s chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans’ lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power,” she added.
In October 2020, Swift endorsed Biden for president, stating that his administration would offer a chance to begin the healing process for America.
