King Charles Snubs Prince Harry

King Charles

(TheProudRepublic.com) – Despite Princе Harry’s efforts to mееt with the Royals, especially his father, King Charles, Prince Harry was denied the ability to do so even though at one point he and his father were a mere three miles away from each other.

39-year-old Prince Harry returned to London this week to commеmorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. However, hopes of a family reconciliation were dashed when Harry’s representativеs confirmed that a meeting with his father would not occur due to the king’s busy schedule.

While the king hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace, marking his first public appearance since his cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry stood 2.6 miles away, delivеring a reading at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral to honor a decade since the inaugural Invictus Games.

Within the palace walls, the 75-year-old Monarch was next to Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. In contrast, Prince Harry attended his event solo.

During his time at St Paul’s Cathedral, Prince Harry shared moments with relatives of his late mother, Princess Diana, including his uncle and aunt, Earl Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes, who warmly embraced him.

Later, Prince Harry engaged with Invictus participants and staff in the cathedral’s crypt before delving into a series of meetings for the remainder of the day.

Moreover, Prince William was notably absent from both events, opting instead to fulfill royal duties at Windsor Castle and spend time with his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children.

The prospects of a family reunion remained bleak, as the king had a prior engagement in Surrey, south of London, to meet with Army personnel from the Royal Engineers.

As Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Engineers, Charles planned to spend the day interacting with military personnel and their families, culminating in discussions with members of the 8 Engineer Brigade.
