VIDEO: Biden Lies Again

Joe Biden

( – While giving informal remarks at a campaign stop in Tampa, Florida, Joe Biden blatantly lied as he reiterated a previous claim that he used to drive an 18-wheeler.

Watch the video further down this post.

Biden’s claim, which he made once in 2021, has previously been debunked by Politifact and Snopes, who found no evidence that the Democrat once held such a job.

At the event, a person from the crowd praised Biden for a pension he received, to which Biden responded, “We did get that done. Anyways. Besides, I used to drive an 18-wheeler.”

Previously, Biden made a similar statement in November 2021 during an infrastructure talk at Dakota County Technical College in Minnesota.

“I used to drive a tractor-trailer, so I know a little bit about driving big trucks,” Biden said. “I only did it for part of a summer, but I got my license anyway.”

Yet, fact-checkers found no record of him working as an 18-wheeler driver, which suggested his experience might have been a one-time ride-along in 1973 as a senator.

Fox News previously inquired about Biden’s truck-driving claims, to which the White House referred to a 1973 article documenting his senatorial ride in a truck.

Snopes wrote that Biden was never a professional trucker and that the president appeared to be referencing his 536-mile passenger experience in 1973.

The 81-year-old Democrat nominee has faced scrutiny over his mental fitness for office, particularly after a report by special counsel Robert Hur suggested jurors might view Biden as an elderly man with memory issues.

Additionally, in April, Biden committed a gaffe during a visit to a war memorial in Pennsylvania, where he recounted an anecdote about his uncle’s WWII death, which did not align with official military accounts.

Despite these incidents, the White House defended Biden’s statements and underscored the significance of honoring his uncle’s service and sacrifice.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters,” … he takes this very seriously. His uncle who served and protected this country lost his life serving, and that should matter.”
