Infamous Illegal Facing Gun Charges

(TheProudRepublic.com) – Thanks to American authorities doing their best job to capture illegal aliens the Biden administration is allowing to enter the country, a Venezuelan illegal immigrant now faces potential federal firearm charges after.

Leonel Moreno, who entered the U.S. unlawfully in April 2022 and urged others to seize homes through squatting, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

According to internal federal documents obtained by the New York Post, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is considering federal charges against him.

“The exact charges are not known, but sources said they would likely be brought under a section of the Gun Control Act which prohibits those on parole from possessing, shipping, transporting or receiving firearms or ammunition,” the report said.

The infamous illegal individual posted videos on social media, featuring himself in firearms stores holding weapons and discussing potential purchases with followers.

Former ICE field office director John Fabbricatore emphasized the gravity of charges under this Act and highlighted potential legal consequences for Moreno.

“This should be a warning to any illegal aliens that possessing a firearm unlawfully will result in criminal charges and hopefully lead to a conviction,” he added.

A former ATF special agent, Peter Forcelli, suggested the ATF’s interest stems from Moreno’s status as an illegal immigrant possessing a firearm transported across state lines.

“Based on the fact that he’s advocating going into people’s homes and taking them over is incredibly concerning,” Forcelli stated.
