Racing legend Danica Patrick has joined forces with women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines to defend biological reality in sports against Olympic champion Simone Biles’ shocking support for transgender athletes competing in women’s events.

See the tweet further down this post.

Patrick blasted what she called the “woke mind virus” spreading through women’s sports while praising Gaines for standing up to protect female athletes’ rights.

The controversy ignited when Gaines criticized the Minnesota State High School League for disabling comments on a post about a girls’ softball team that included a transgender athlete.

Biles then launched a personal attack against Gaines, calling her a “sore loser” and suggesting she should “bully someone your own size, which would ironically be a male.”

Patrick, who broke barriers as a female driver competing in NASCAR and IndyCar, did not hold back in defending Gaines.

Taking to Instagram, the racing star made her position crystal clear on the growing threat to women’s sports.

“This issue has a shelf life. I truly believe common sense will prevail. But until then, I am grateful for people like Riley Gaines who are making sure no one gets away with it. Not to mention the fact that she actually lived it,” Patrick stated.

She referred to Gaines’ experience competing against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in the 2022 NCAA championships.

“Defending men in women’s sports is the woke mind virus and/or another issue that requires therapy. Either way, it is so irrational,” she added.

Gaines, who has become a leading voice defending women’s sports since tying with Thomas in that NCAA swimming event, fired back at Biles with a powerful response:

“It’s not my job or the job of any woman to figure out how to include men in our spaces. You can uplift men stealing championships in women’s sports with YOUR platform. Men don’t belong in women’s sports and I say that with my full chest.”

The confrontation escalated when Biles demanded that Gaines should be “uplifting the trans community” instead of protecting women’s sports.

Biles suggested creating “a transgender category in ALL SPORTS” while accusing Gaines of being a “sore loser” who “bullies” transgender athletes.

Meanwhile, Patrick’s support for Gaines aligns with her previous backing of President Trump and traditional American values.

The racing pioneer understands competition better than most, having spent her career racing against men.

Still, she recognizes the fundamental biological differences that make separate sports categories necessary.

Moreover, the controversy comes as transgender athletes continue gaining access to women’s sports across America, despite overwhelming scientific evidence showing that biological males maintain significant physical advantages even after hormone therapy.

Gaines has emerged as a powerful political commentator on this issue, earning praise from President Trump for her courageous stance.

As this high-profile feud continues drawing attention to one of the most divisive issues in sports, Patrick’s bold defense of women’s rights and biological reality represents a powerful voice of reason against the progressive agenda threatening to erase women’s sports completely.
