Newsom DARES Border Czar

Liberal Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has openly dared federal law by challenging Trump’s border czar Tom Homan to arrest him amid violent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles.

As criminal illegal aliens face deportation under President Trump’s renewed immigration enforcement, Newsom is actively encouraging resistance that threatens the safety of ICE agents and American citizens.

Newsom’s brazen challenge came in response to Homan’s warnings that state officials could face federal charges for obstructing immigration enforcement.

“Come after me. Arrest me. Let’s just get it over with, tough guy,” the defiant Democrat stated, deliberately inflaming tensions as violent protests erupted across Los Angeles.

President Trump did not hesitate to respond to Newsom’s provocations. “I would do it, if I were Tom,” Trump stated. “Gavin likes the publicity, but I think it would be a great thing.”

The President deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to restore order in Los Angeles after anti-ICE protesters set cars ablaze and waved flags supporting illegal aliens.

Homan, who previously served as Acting ICE Director, made it clear that no one is above the law, including California’s governor.

“I’ll say about anybody, You cross that line, it’s a felony to harbor and conceal an illegal alien knowingly. It’s a felony to impede law enforcement doing their job,” Homan warned.

Appearing on Fox News, Homan further clarified his position, saying:

“No one is above the law. If they cross the line, if they commit a crime– absolutely they can [be arrested] … All you hear is ICE being racists, being Nazis and Governor Newsom feeds that.”

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass also received warnings from Homan but took a more measured approach than Newsom.

“I spoke to him last night. He understands that I am the mayor of the city; the last thing in the world I’m going to do is get into a brawl with the federal government. So that just made no sense. There was no reason for that comment,” Bass stated.

While Newsom prepares to sue the Trump administration over the National Guard deployment, Trump defended the decision as necessary to prevent further destruction.

“I like Gavin Newsom. He’s a nice guy, but he’s grossly incompetent, everybody knows that,” Trump remarked.

Newsom’s dangerous rhetoric continued as he urged resistance to federal authorities.

“Trump’s border czar is threatening to arrest me for speaking out. Come and get me, tough guy. I don’t give a damn. It won’t stop me from standing up for California,” he declared on social media, further inflaming tensions.

The showdown between Trump’s administration and California officials highlights the fundamental difference in priorities.

While ICE focuses on removing dangerous criminal aliens from American communities, Newsom and other Democrats prefer to shield illegal aliens, even at the cost of public safety and the rule of law.

Moreover, Homan has pledged that ICE operations will continue daily despite the resistance from California officials.

His focus remains clear: enforcing immigration laws that protect American citizens while Democrat leaders like Newsom continue playing political games that endanger communities and undermine federal authority.
