Judge Stops Biden Dead In His Tracks

(TheProudRepublic.com) – In one of the not-so-many cases of a judicial ruling in defense of the nation from Joe Biden’s bewildering illegal alien invasion, a federal judge has banned the Biden administration from destroying Texas’s border razor wire fence at the US-Mexican border.

On Monday, a federal court issued a provisional order, halting the Biden administration’s efforts to remove the razor wire barriers set up by Texas authorities aimed at deterring illegal immigration.

Last week, Texas lodged a legal complaint in Del Rio, Texas, seeking to restrain federal border officials from disrupting the extensive razor wire installation along the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton leveled criticisms at the administration, accusing it of “undermining” Texas’ border security strategies and “damaging Texas’ ability to effectively deter illegal entry into its territory.”

In her ruling on Monday, Alia Moses, Judge of the US Western District of Texas, commanded the federal government to cease removing the razor wire until the conclusion of a hearing on November 7 regarding Paxton’s petition, reports the Corpus Christi Caller Times, as cited by Newsmax.

In both its lawsuit and the separate plea for the interim ruling, Texas emphasized that the wire barriers are erected on private properties along the Rio Grande, with the consent of the landowners.

In her directive, Judge Moses specified a singular condition under which federal officials might cut the wire.

“The Court shall grant the temporary relief requested, with one important exception for any medical emergency that mostly likely results in serious bodily injury or death to a person, absent any boats or other life-saving apparatus available to avoid such medical emergencies prior to reaching the concertina wire barrier,” the judge stated.

Last week, the US Department of Homeland Security argued that border agents were obligated under federal law to shield migrants from harm, irrespective of their immigration status.

After the filing of the state’s lawsuit, Border Patrol agents were observed altering and shifting the coils of wire.

The Texas National Guard erected this wire fencing as a segment of Operation Lone Star, an initiative inaugurated by Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott in 2021.

Judge Moses, who delivered the ruling, was appointed to the federal bench in 2002 by then-President George W. Bush.
