(TheProudRepublic.com) – During his first Cabinet meeting, President Donald Trump launched an effort to trim the federal government’s bloated bureaucracy, describing the United States as “bloated, fat, and disgusting.”

Trump did not mince words about his predecessor, Joe Biden, calling him “a disgrace” and “the worst president in the history of our country.”
“…This country has gotten bloated and fat and disgusting and incompetently run,” he told reporters.
The President’s harsh criticism comes as he and his newly appointed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) co-chair, Elon Musk, begin their promised overhaul of federal agencies that have expanded unchecked for decades.
Trump fully endorsed Musk’s aggressive approach to identifying wasteful spending and redundant positions within the federal workforce.
Over the weekend, Musk gave federal workers just 48 hours to report their weekly activities, causing panic among bureaucrats unaccustomed to accountability.
This initiative represents the administration’s first step in reducing the deficit by $4 trillion.
When discussing federal employees who failed to respond to Musk’s inquiry, Trump was direct about the consequences they might face.
“I think Elon wants to and I think it’s a good idea because, you know, those people, as I said before, they’re on the bubble. You got a lot of people that have not responded. So we’re trying to figure out — Do they exist? Who are they?” Trump stated.
Moreover, the Trump administration has already issued a memo requiring federal agencies to develop comprehensive plans for reducing workforce positions by March 13, with further efficiency plans due by April 14.
These plans must be implemented by September 30, signaling that significant changes in government operations are on the horizon for the entrenched bureaucracy that has thrived unchecked for too long.
While Musk acknowledged that some mistakes might occur during the streamlining process, the overall mission remains clear: eliminate waste and reduce the massive federal deficit caused by years of unchecked spending.
The DOGE initiative has already begun sending “pulse check” emails to federal workers, asking them to list five accomplishments or potentially face termination.
During the Cabinet meeting, Trump also blasted Biden for allowing millions of illegal aliens into the country and implementing disastrous energy policies that have fueled inflation.
He specifically criticized Biden’s spending on environmental initiatives, referring to them as a “green new scam” that has harmed American families and businesses.
For everyday Americans tired of watching their tax dollars disappear into a government black hole, Trump’s frank assessment and decisive action represent a welcome change.
Although the mainstream media predictably focuses on his colorful language, patriots across the country recognize that his tough approach is exactly what’s needed to drain the swamp and restore fiscal responsibility to Washington.
