“A man who ‘feared for his life’ shot and killed a would-be robber who tried to take his cell phone and wallet at gunpoint early Saturday,” Henderson police said.
“The 33-year-old male discharged multiple rounds from his firearm and struck the unknown male…” the news release reported.
While the suspect died at the scene, no law-abiding citizens were injured during this incident.
The 33-year-old hero remained at the scene and fully cooperated with detectives.
Moreover, Henderson police are investigating this incident as the sixth homicide in the city for 2024.
However, this was not just another homicide, as it was a righteous act of self-preservation against a dangerous criminal element that threatens our communities.
While the liberal media might try to spin this story to fit their anti-gun narrative, gun-bearers understand the reality of an armed society is a polite society.
This incident proves that the best defense against a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
