The former U.S. President, Donald Trump, shared his thoughts about the speculated relationship between renowned singer Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce. When asked by the Daily Caller about the speculated romance, Trump responded, “I genuinely wish them well. Whether they remain together or not, that’s yet to be seen.”

The media has been abuzz with speculation about a potential romance between the celebrated singer and the NFL sensation. This came into limelight especially after Swift was seen at a Chiefs-Chicago Bears game, supporting Kelce. She was photographed next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, and they were later spotted leaving Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium together. Swift is anticipated to be present at Kelce’s forthcoming game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Kelce, a proud holder of two Super Bowl titles, commented on the relationship rumors in his “New Heights” podcast. He mentioned, “I’m living my life to the fullest and had a fantastic weekend. From here on, my focus in public discussions will primarily be sports.”

Interestingly, Trump’s words come after a period of tension with Swift. Swift had been openly critical of Trump during his tenure as president. She notably took to social media in 2020, reproaching him for his statements during the George Floyd protests. Moreover, she expressed concerns about his actions and intentions regarding the 2020 presidential elections.

Reminiscing about Swift’s public disapproval of Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s election in 2018, Trump had humorously remarked that he was less fond of Swift’s music.

A recent column in the Washington Post hinted at a possible political rivalry between Swift, Kelce, and Trump. The column, penned by Rick Reilly, suggested that the couple’s collective influence could be a concern for Trump, considering their significant and passionate fan bases. Reilly playfully mused whether the duo might unite their fans in a democratic cause, a move that even Trump might find challenging to counter.
