The CBS News/YouGov poll, which surveyed 2,175 U.S. adults with a margin of error of ±2.5 points, showed that Trump’s decisive leadership is resonating with the American people.
On the critical issue of illegal immigration, Trump’s policies are gaining widespread support. An impressive 59% of respondents approve of his deportation policy, while 64% support sending U.S. troops to secure our southern border.
Trump’s tough stance on China is also winning approval, with 56% of Americans supporting tariffs on the communist regime.
This shows that the American people understand the importance of standing up to China’s unfair trade practices and protecting American jobs.
The poll also revealed that a majority of Americans describe Trump as “tough,” “energetic,” “focused,” and “effective.”
On the international stage, Trump’s leadership continues to shine. A solid 54% of Americans approve of his handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict, demonstrating his commitment to standing with American allies and confronting terrorism head-on.
