Liberals aren’t happy.
On Easter Sunday (April 17), former President Donald Trump — through his Save America PAC — released three statements wishing others a happy Easter.
The statements varied in sentiment, from jovial to disdainful, wishing everyone “peace and prosperity” in one, and aiming at “radical left Democrats,” who Trump said had been destroying the U.S, in another.
In the first statement, Trump wrote, “Happy Easter to all,” sharing his wish that “there be great peace and prosperity throughout the world!”
However, shortly after these pleasantries, Trump issued another statement, which read: “Happy Easter to all including the Radical Left Maniacs who are doing everything possible to destroy our Country. May they not succeed, but let them, nevertheless, be happy, healthy, wealthy, and well.”
His final statement targeted New York’s Attorney General Letitia James, who has pursued an investigation into the Trump family. In that statement, Trump wishes James a happy Easter, stating, “Happy Easter to failed gubernatorial candidate and racist Attorney General Letitia James. May she remain healthy despite the fact that she will continue to drive business out of New York while at the same time keeping crime, death, and destruction in New York!”
It appears that Trump’s statements have since been deleted from the website, with the evidence of his statements living on in screenshots shared on social media.
