(TheProudRepublic.com) – Amid cheers by American patriots, Donald Trump has vowed to “vigorously pursue the death penalty,” as he is reigniting the call for a justice system once again instilling law and order.
See the tweet below!
This call is in response to Joe Biden’s decision to commute nearly all federal death sentences.
Trump’s approach, resonating with law-and-order values, seeks to reinforce legal consequences for severe crimes, contrasting with Biden’s vision.
Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden for commuting the sentences of nearly all federal prisoners on death row, calling the decision incomprehensible and devastating to victims’ families.
This comes as Biden recently commuted the sentences of 37 out of 40 federal inmates awaiting execution to life without parole.
Among these individuals were those convicted of heinous crimes such as murder during bank robberies and killing a prison guard.
Several figures have condemned the lack of severity in Biden’s decisions.
Trump’s plans to direct the Department of Justice to rigorously pursue the death penalty aim to ensure that justice is served for Americans.
The importance of maintaining a robust justice system is highlighted by the fact that only three federal inmates now remain on death row: Robert Bowers, Dylann Roof, and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, all involved in mass shootings or terrorist attacks.
Trump’s prior administration marked the resumption of federal executions in 2019 under Attorney General William Barr, an initiative reflecting his commitment to upholding law and order.
In 2020, the United States executed 10 individuals, the highest number since 1896, demonstrating Trump’s dedication to delivering justice.
“Joe Biden just commuted the Death Sentence on 37 of the worst killers in our Country. When you hear the acts of each, you won’t believe that he did this. Makes no sense. Relatives and friends are further devastated. They can’t believe this is happening!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Despite Biden’s decisions being irreversible, Trump’s forthcoming administration plans to seek the death penalty in future cases.
The move may face constitutional challenges and require congressional support, yet it underscores a renewed emphasis on protecting American families and children from threats.
Amanda Snell’s brother, Alex Snell, expressed disbelief and anger over the commutation of Jorge Avila-Torrez’s death sentence for murder and rape.
Victims and their families share similar sentiments, highlighting the need for stringent legal repercussions.
“As soon as I am inaugurated, I will direct the Justice Department to vigorously pursue the death penalty to protect American families and children from violent rapists, murderers, and monsters. We will be a Nation of Law and Order again!” Trump declared.
