Taking to Truth Social on Sunday (June 25), former President Donald Trump that, “They want to interfere — to a point where [President] Joe Biden is willing to arrest his opponent who is leading him in the polls.”

The post included a video in which the former President said the same thing Faith and Freedom Coalition meeting, where he concluded, “but we’re not going to let that happen.”

The former President was referencing the accusations of mishandling classified documents that led to his indictment on 37 counts.

Special Counsel Jack Smith claims that Trump did not comply with National Archives’ requests to return the documents he took with him upon leaving the White House in January 2021.

According to Trump, the documents belong to him, and as President, he had the power to declassify them under the Presidential Records Act. However, Trump’s statements on whether he declassified the documents have been inconsistent. He has sometimes claimed that he made a statement to declassify all of them.

Since the 2020 election cycle, Trump repeatedly claimed that the election was stolen from him. However, there is no evidence to support his allegations of voter fraud.

Recently, evidence has emerged of attempts by the intelligence community to sway the election outcome.

During Thursday’s (June 22) testimony before Congress, an IRS whistleblower named Gary Shapley stated that in November 2019, the FBI “verified” the contents of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop. This verification occurred a full year before the 2020 election between former President Trump and current President Biden. Shapley also revealed that a federal computer expert assessed the laptop and determined that it “was not manipulated in any way.”

In October 2020, before the Presidential election, 51 former intelligence community members wrote a letter stating that the Hunter Biden laptop story seemed like it was part of a Russian information operation. This information was later revealed by the “Twitter Files” after a media blackout.

It wasn’t until April 2023 that a letter was sent to the current Secretary of State, Antony Blinken (a former member of the Biden campaign), revealing that the intelligence community had made efforts to alter the election results.

Jim Jordan, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, released a letter that quotes former acting CIA Director Michael Morell’s testimony. Morell stated that Blinken contacted him on or around Oct. 17, 2020.

In the testimony, Morell admitted that his intention was to help Biden with the election, saying “it was [to] help Vice President Biden,” before adding, “Because I wanted [Biden] to win the election.”
