Following several interviews on Fox News critical of former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents, the former President has offered to help CNN go “Conservative” and become a “gold mine.”

Taking to Truth Social on Sunday (September 4), Trump expressed shock that Fox News was “really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda.”

He continued, “Gets worse every single day. So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed.”

The former President then offered “low rating CNN” some assistance, saying, “If ‘low ratings’ CNN ever went Conservative, they would be an absolute gold mine, and I would help them do so.”

Trump has often called out CNN as being fake news and praised Fox News for its coverage. But as Fox News has become more critical of the former President’s latest legal battle — handling of hundreds of classified documents — the friendly dynamic between Fox and Trump has shifted.

Trump’s comments come as CNN’s new President, Chris Licht, renewed the network’s commitment to fair and objective news after CNN was accused of being partisan by those on the right.

So far, “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter and White House correspondent John Harwood have departed from the network in what is seen as a move to make CNN less politically confrontational.

Trump specifically called out former senior advisor to former President George W. Bush and frequent Fox News contributor Karl Rove in his post on Sunday.

“RINO Karl Rove is unwatchable, very negative, and on all the time – has a big record of losing!” Trump stated.

In recent appearances, Rove has been critical of Trump’s handling of classified documents, saying Trump has “no legal authority” to keep the documents at Mar-a-Lago.
