Trump Confirms VP List

(TheProudRepublic.com) – Former President Donald Trump is thinking about a few people for his vice president pick but hasn’t said when he will announce his choice.

Talking to Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, Trump confirmed that names being talked about are indeed on his list.

These names include Vivek Ramaswamy, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, Florida Representative Byron Donalds, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard. Trump praised them as “good and solid.”

He gave special mention to Senator Tim Scott, who was present at a town hall in Greenville, South Carolina. Trump pointed out, “A lot of people are talking about that gentleman right over there. And he’s been so great. He’s been such a great advocate. I have to say, this is in a very positive way, Tim Scott, he has been much better for me than he was for himself. I watched his campaign and he doesn’t like talking about himself, but boy, does he talk about Trump.”

When discussing what he looks for in a vice president, Trump highlighted the need for “presidential timber” in case something happened to him and someone who could attract more voter support. He emphasized, “I want people with common sense because there’s so many things happening in this country that don’t make sense.”

Trump is set to compete against former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley in the upcoming South Carolina primary this Saturday. He has previously beaten her in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada. Haley has vowed to continue her campaign until Super Tuesday on March 5.
