Trump Challenges Biden

( – In a move that seemingly challenges both Joe Biden’s manhood and his mental fitness, Donald Trump has challenged Biden to debate him one on one.

During an appearance on The Dan Bongino Show Trump expressed his desire for a debate with Biden months before the end of the primary season and the start of the general election. Trump, who is facing a challenge from Nikki Haley in the GOP primary, criticized Biden’s ability to communicate, stating, “He can’t do it, because he can’t talk. He can’t do anything. He’s ruining our country.” He further added, “I’d like to debate him now because we should debate for the good of the country,” as reported by the New York Post.

Responding to Trump’s challenge, Biden quipped, “If I were him, I’d want to debate me, too. He’s got nothing else to do.” However Biden did not confirm whether he would accept the invitation to debate.

Trump had previously refused to participate in GOP primary debates, stating on Truth Social that he would not engage in debates because “the public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had.” During an interview with Fox News, he questioned the rationale behind allowing candidates polling at 1 or 2% to pose questions to him all night.

Despite Trump’s reluctance to participate in debate, hypothetical matchups between him and Biden in the general election show Trump leading across several polls. The Real Clear Politics polling average indicates Trump leading Biden by more than two points.

A recent NBC News poll revealed a dip in Biden’s approval ratings with just 37% of voters approving of his job performance. The poll also showed that voters trust Trump over Biden on various issues such as border security, handling the economy, dealing with crime, and improving the United States’ standing in the world. However Biden held a slight edge over Trump on issues like protecting democracy, abortion, and the rights of immigrants.
