Superstar: Biden ‘CANNOT WIN’ (Video)

( – In new evidence that Joe Biden’s position as his party’s presumed 2024 nominee is becoming untenable, Academy Award-winning actor George Clooney has publicly called on the president to withdraw from his re-election campaign, asserting that the 81-year-old incumbent “cannot win.”

Clooney, who is 63, articulated this appeal for a change in candidacy through an op-ed in The New York Times, which followed less than a month after he hosted a Biden fundraiser that gathered approximately $30 million.

The significant funds raised, however, were overshadowed by an incident during the event where President Biden seemed momentarily incapacitated and required assistance to leave the stage, guided by former President Barack Obama.

This occurred after an interview with ABC’s late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, where Biden seemed unusually fixated on the applauding audience until Obama intervened.

Clooney expressed his deep personal admiration for Biden, cited by The New York Post.

“I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can,” the actor wrote.

Reflecting on their recent interaction at the fundraiser, Clooney noted a marked difference in Biden’s demeanor.

“It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe’ big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” the actor added.

He also criticized Democratic Party leaders for denying the perceptible decline observed by many, emphasizing the disconnect between public statements and private admissions within the party.

“This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and Congress member and governor that I’ve spoken with in private. Every single one, irrespective of what he or she is saying publicly,” Clooney wrote.

Despite only a few House Democrats publicly advocating for Biden to terminate his 2024 campaign, Clooney asserts that a significant shift is necessary: “[t]he dam has broken. We can put our heads in the sand and pray for a miracle in November, or we can speak the truth.”

Clooney proposed a “mini-primary” at the upcoming Democratic convention in Chicago to determine a new candidate, suggesting several potential figures, including Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Vice President Kamala Harris.

He acknowledged that the process could be contentious: “Would it be messy? Yes. Democracy is messy.”
