Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, have both forecasted that former President Trump would not be able to beat President Biden in a potential rematch in the 2024 presidential election.

Both the former and the current president are facing subtle opposition from within their party on whether or not they should run. In terms of President Biden, his old age has led to many people questioning whether or not he would be a suitable candidate or whether he would be too old for the task ahead.

Former President Trump on the other hand is facing his own set of legal struggles as he is starting his 2024 presidential campaign.

According to an ABC-Washington Post poll, most voters from both parties would like to see someone other than these two in the presidential race. However, while Trump is expected to have a number of candidates against him, it is unclear whether Biden is also going to have any opposition in the Democratic primary.

When Christie was asked on ABC’s “This Week” by co-anchor Jonathan Karl whether or not Trump would be able to win against Biden, he replied by saying “I don’t think so.”

Similarly, Sununu answered the same question with a simple no. He added that while Trump might be able to win the GOP nomination he would not be able to win the presidential election.
