The newly appointed chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, Rep. James Comer (R-KY.), revealed that his Committee was discovering “evidence everywhere” concerning their investigations into President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.
Speaking on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” on January 22, Comer explained to host Maria Bartiromo that the investigations into Hunter Biden and his family’s wrongdoing wasn’t “the most complex investigation on the planet.”
Instead, Comer described the investigation as “tracking a bleeding bear through a snowstorm,” adding, “I mean, there’s evidence everywhere.”
Comer’s comments come after he had followed through on his promise to investigate Biden and his family’s finances by pursuing information from the treasury department.
The House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chair requested information regarding any Biden family businesses and possibly suspicious bank activity reports.
Comer revealed that plenty of connections existed between Biden and his family and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) before pivoting to Biden’s unauthorized storage of classified documents.
The Kentucky Republican described the classified document discovery at Biden’s Wilmington, Del. home as “startling” and shared he took Biden at his word when he said he had misplaced the first batch of classified documents discovered in his former office.
Following the discovery of classified documents in the home, Comer requested visitor logs for the Wilmington home, which the White House counsel subsequently denied as no such records existed.
During Sunday’s appearance, Comer also indicated that he would continue the investigation by requesting information from the Secret Service on Monday, expressing hope that they “work with us.”
