Reporter Slammed – ‘Nobody Was Texting War Plans’ (Watch)

The Proud Republic Happening Now

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth slammed left-wing Atlantic journalist Jeffrey Goldberg for accusing him of leaking war plans, stating resolutely, “Nobody was texting war plans.”

Watch the video below.

During a news briefing in Hawaii, Hegseth called out Goldberg as a “deceitful and highly discredited so-called journalist” who “peddles in garbage,” exposing yet another media smear campaign against the Trump administration.

The controversy erupted after Goldberg claimed he was mistakenly added to a Signal chat among Trump administration officials that allegedly contained sensitive military information regarding strikes on Yemen.

National Security Council spokesperson Brian Hughes confirmed that a chat existed but disputed that any war plans were shared, stating the communications merely demonstrated policy coordination without compromising national security.

Hegseth did not mince words when addressing the allegations: “Nobody was texting war plans,” he declared firmly, putting to rest any suggestion that administration officials compromised classified military strategies.

“You’re talking about a deceitful and highly discredited so-called journalist who’s made a profession of peddling hoaxes time and time again,” Hegseth added.

The alleged Signal chat reportedly included prominent administration figures like Vice President JD Vance, national security adviser Mike Waltz, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

While the Biden-Harris media allies were quick to manufacture outrage, President Trump made it clear he had no involvement in or knowledge of the incident.

“I don’t know anything about it. I’m not a big fan of the Atlantic. To me, it’s a magazine that’s going out of business. It’s not much of a magazine. But I know nothing about it,” Trump stated during a briefing.

Predictably, Democrats seized the opportunity to criticize the administration, with Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) expressing manufactured concern over using non-secure channels for sensitive information.

The timing of these allegations seems calculated to distract from the Trump administration’s successful foreign policy initiatives, particularly concerning Ukraine and the Middle East.

Some Democrat operatives are even attempting to draw comparisons to Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, conveniently forgetting that Clinton deliberately maintained a private server containing classified information and then destroyed evidence when investigated.

In contrast, this incident involves an accidental chat invitation that Hegseth firmly states never contained war plans.

The phony controversy comes as the Trump administration continues implementing America First policies that are delivering results globally.

Although leftist publications like The Atlantic continue their desperate attempts to undermine the administration with false narratives, Secretary Hegseth and his colleagues remain focused on strengthening America’s defense capabilities and restoring respect for American power abroad.

The Trump administration continues to face relentless attacks from a hostile media determined to undermine its effectiveness while ignoring its successes in securing America’s interests at home and abroad.

Secretary Hegseth’s strong defense against these baseless allegations demonstrates the administration’s commitment to truth in the face of partisan media fabrications.
