PROOF: Overdose Deaths Surging for Blacks and Indigenous Americans

Yellow sign reads Get the Facts on road.

(TheProudRepublic.com) – Exposing yet another failure of the Biden-Harris administration’s “equity” agenda, the opioid epidemic is devastating Black and Native American communities.

While overdose deaths among white Americans have decreased, minorities are dying at alarming rates, revealing the true cost of open borders and liberal policies.

According to recent data, overdose death rates skyrocketed by 44% for Black Americans and 39% for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) people in just one year.

This surge comes as the Biden-Harris administration continues to turn a blind eye to the flood of illegal drugs pouring across our southern border.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) admitted that “Drug overdose data show troubling trends and widening disparities between different population groups.”

However, their proposed solutions fall short of addressing the root causes of this crisis.

Instead of implementing strong border security measures to stop the flow of deadly drugs like fentanyl, the Biden-Harris administration is pushing for so-called “harm reduction” strategies.

These include distributing naloxone and fentanyl test strips, which critics argue only enables drug use rather than solving the underlying problem.

The CDC suggests that “Everyone can help by learning about naloxone and sharing resources on overdose prevention.”

However, this approach fails to address the core issues of drug trafficking and illegal immigration that play a key role in substance abuse.

The left’s obsession with identity politics and “equity” has led to a dangerous neglect of the real issues facing minority communities.

While they push for “culturally responsive” actions, they ignore the devastating impact of their soft-on-crime policies and open borders agenda.

In 2022, fentanyl surpassed meth as the leading cause of overdose deaths in Los Angeles County, with a higher rate of deaths among Black residents.
