The pardon covers offenses committed by Hunter from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024, is a shocking display of betrayal to every American citizen.
It erases Hunter’s convictions for tax evasion and federal gun charges, crimes that would have landed any ordinary citizen behind bars for years.
In a desperate attempt to justify his actions, Joe claimed his son was “selectively and unfairly prosecuted,” describing the situation as a “miscarriage of justice.”
This outrageous statement flies in the face of the evidence presented in court, where Hunter was found guilty of making false statements in a gun purchase and possession of a firearm as an unlawful user of controlled substances.
After careful deliberation, the jury reached a guilty verdict in just three hours over two days. Hunter faced potential sentences of up to 17 years for tax charges and 25 years for gun-related charges.
Moreover, Joe’s blatant flip-flop exposed the lies and deceit that have become hallmarks of his administration.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had previously denied any plans for a pardon, further eroding trust in the Biden White House.
The timing of this pardon is particularly suspicious, coming just as Hunter was set to face sentencing for his crimes.
“Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter,” Biden wrote in a statement. “From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”
