(TheProudRepublic.com) – First Lady Melania Trump slammed the soon-to-be former First Lady Jill Biden’s concern for President-elect Donald Trump following his assassination attempt.

See the tweet below.

This revelation comes amid heightened political tensions and personal attacks, exposing the deep-seated divisions within America’s political landscape.

The assassination attempt on Trump occurred during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he and two others were wounded, and one attendee tragically lost their life.

The gunman, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was armed with an AR-style rifle and was shot dead at the scene.

In the aftermath of the attack, Jill Biden reached out to Melania, while Joe Biden spoke directly with Trump. However, Melania’s response to this gesture was far from warm as she expressed her skepticism about the genuineness of Jill’s concern.

“I do question, however, whether Jill’s concern was genuine, as a few days prior she referred to my husband as ‘evil’ and a ‘liar,'” Melania said during an interview.

Moreover, the tension between the Trumps and Bidens has been evident in other ways as well. Melania declined a meeting with Jill at the White House, citing a “scheduling conflict” related to the release of her memoir.

This meeting was intended to mark the beginning of a peaceful transition between the outgoing and incoming First Families, a tradition that has been upheld for generations.

Melania’s decision not to attend the traditional tea with the former First Lady during the transition period was reportedly influenced by the 2022 FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.

“They want Donald out. They won’t stop. Has the concept of ‘respect’ become antiquated?” she stated.

Similarly, Trump has not remained silent on the matter. In a separate interview, he blamed Democrat rhetoric for the violence against him, stating:

“Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out.”

As the political landscape continues to evolve, it is clear that the wounds from previous elections and administrations run deep.

The assassination attempt on the President-elect and the subsequent fallout serve as stark reminders of the high stakes and intense emotions that continue to define American politics.
