Prominent conservative activist Laura Loomer has shocked allies and critics alike with her criticism of President Donald Trump.
Specifically, Loomer did not mince words when discussing the president’s plan to accept a $400 million Boeing jet from Qatar.
The MAGA loyalist publicly condemned the gift on the social media platform X, calling it a “stain” on Trump’s administration.
She also raised questions about foreign influence from a nation she argues has ties to terrorist organizations.
President Trump defended the acceptance of the luxury aircraft as a “great gesture” from Qatar.
He pointed to the high maintenance costs of the current Air Force One planes as justification for accepting the gift.
The president added that the aircraft would eventually be displayed at a future Trump Presidential Library similar to the plane at the Reagan Library.
Loomer, who holds significant influence in President Trump’s inner circle, broke ranks with her usual unwavering support for the president.
She specifically cited Qatar’s alleged connections to Hamas and Hezbollah as reasons for her opposition to the arrangement.
The gift has raised constitutional concerns among legal experts regarding the emoluments clause.
It prohibits federal officials from accepting gifts from foreign nations without Congressional approval.
Despite these concerns, President Trump firmly dismissed criticism as “fake news.”
In a follow-up post, Loomer doubled down on her criticism. She described Qataris as “jihadists in suits” and expressed disappointment in the president’s decision to accept their gift.
I love Donald Trump.
Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.
Qatar funds the Muslim Brotherhood which funds BLM, ANTIFA, and every Islamic radical in the United States.
Qatar is financing terrorism and chaos in America.
This is undeniable. It’s a proven fact. https://t.co/zIWcbKxn64

Although the Qatar jet controversy has dominated headlines, President Trump has also announced several major policy initiatives that have received less attention.
These include a 90-day tariff reduction agreement with China, a cease-fire between India and Pakistan, and a bold plan to lower prescription drug costs for American consumers.
The mainstream media’s intense focus on the Qatar gift rather than these policy achievements exemplifies President Trump’s contentious relationship with the press.
Conservative supporters view this selective coverage as further evidence of media bias against the president and his America First agenda.
Fox News reported that the Qatar government has maintained that the gift is intended specifically for display purposes at a future presidential library, not for President Trump’s personal use.
However, critics continue to question the timing and propriety of accepting such an expensive gift from a foreign government with complex regional allegiances.
The rare public split between President Trump and one of his most loyal supporters highlights the complexity within the America First movement.
