(TheProudRepublic.com) – Kamala Harris seems to be the lesser favorite candidate among women voters, as they ripped her by calling her phony and fake while backing GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump instead.
Women who spoke to former CNN host Don Lemon explained that they felt their lives were better under Trump and expressed dissatisfaction with Harris’ personality. They also expressed a reluctance to vote for her based solely on her race and gender.
A black woman told Lemon why she supports Trump and dislikes Harris: “She’s phony and fake, you know what I’m saying? … I’m not feeling her. People get mad about it. I’m just not feeling her.”
Another black woman echoed her feelings and said, “I’m going for Trump. I feel like every time they don’t want somebody who is good for us to win, they throw somebody black in our face thinking that’s going to make us vote for the black person.”
Moreover, a white woman apologized to Lemon for supporting Trump, explaining her stance: “Well, I know nobody likes him, but we had good times with Donald Trump.”
She also criticized Harris’ speaking style, saying, “I don’t like the way [Harris] speaks, the giddiness, the laughing. Everything’s a joke and it’s not a joke. We’re in trouble.”
Similar to women, black male voters in Georgia also expressed their support for Trump. They cited his bold personality, business skills, and economic management as reasons for their support.
“Some people don’t like it, but I think he’s a smart businessman,” one voter said. “Some want to call him an a-hole but I think he’s an excellent a-hole.”
