On Wednesday (June 14), First Lady Jill Biden warned against voting for former President Donald Trump, saying “we’ve all lived through” the former President’s time in the White House.

Speaking at a fundraiser for the Biden Victory Fund in Los Angeles, the First Lady said, “We know what’s in store if… MAGA Republicans win because we’ve all lived through this.”

Telling attendees to remember “how U.S. policy was dictated by [Trump’s] late-night tweets.”

The First Lady also recalled that the former President would carry out “constant assault on our most sacred institutions, our democracy and our freedoms,” suggesting that if Trump was given another four years, “it’s only going to get years.”

Biden was referring to Trump’s surprising claims and sweeping political statements on Twitter at all hours.

The First Lady then compared Trump to her husband, saying the choice was between “chaos and corruption, hatred and division” or “strong, steady leadership.”

The first lady spoke to a group of about 80 people at the afternoon fundraiser and highlighted her husband’s achievements to date.

She also emphasized that her husband was up for another four years amid the continued attack by Republicans and the continued attack by some Democrats on his age.

The President would be 86 years old at the end of his second term.

“Optimism, that’s what drives my husband, and nothing can slow him down,” adding, “Joe is ready — as he likes to say — to finish the job.”

The First Lady has been attending fundraising events his week.

On Tuesday (June 13), she was in the San Francisco Bay Area, also using the opportunity to warn against Trump’s re-election in a statement to donors.
