(TheProudRepublic.com) – In what can hardly be accepted as a fair decision, the FCC has shockingly rejected Donald Trump’s complaints against hopelessly biased reporting by pro-left propaganda pillars ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Outgoing FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel emphasized that the FCC shouldn’t act as “speech police.”

With Trump’s repeated efforts to revoke network licenses over content disputes thwarted, the FCC supports an independent and free press.

Rosenworcel announced that the FCC will not revoke ABC’s broadcast licenses due to complaints about debate moderation and Kamala Harris’s appearances, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

“Outgoing FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel ordered the agency to reject four complaints and petitions against local TV stations, stating that these complaints represent politically motivated efforts to curtail freedom of the press and undermine the First Amendment,” Variety reported.

She made it clear that using the FCC’s licensing power to control content violates fundamental rights.

Rosenworcel reaffirmed that the FCC’s actions reflect a commitment to the Constitution and the Communications Act of 1934.

In response to Trump’s allegations against ABC for allegedly leaking debate questions to Harris, the FCC maintained its stance of not revoking licenses based on political disagreements.

Senators pushed for legal-based decisions rather than content-based ones.

Rosenworcel emphasized the importance of the First Amendment and asserted that the FCC should not act as the President’s speech police or censor journalism.

The dismissed complaints included ABC-owned WPVI-TV, CBS-owned WCBS, and NBC-owned WNBC.

The FCC will continue to issue licenses based on adherence to legal standards, not political content disagreement, according to its statement.

Advocacy groups have applauded this decision, stressing the dangers of government overreach into journalistic content.

“The First Amendment is a cornerstone of our democracy,” Jessica Rosenworcel declared.
