(TheProudRepublic.com) – A deadly human smuggling has been exposed at the U.S.-Canada border as a convicted human smuggler confessed to trafficking over 500 Indian illegals into the United States in four years.

Rajinder Singh’s testimony against ringleaders Harshkumar Ramanlal Patel and Steve Shand has unveiled a complex network of international smugglers exploiting the borders.
The operation, which netted Singh a staggering $400,000, demonstrates the lucrative nature of this criminal enterprise that threatens American security and safety.
The case gained national attention after the tragic deaths of four Indian illegals, including two children, who perished in freezing temperatures while attempting to cross into Minnesota.
According to court documents, migrants paid an astounding $100,000 each to be smuggled from India to the United States.
The smuggling operation exploited weaknesses in both the U.S. and Canadian immigration systems, as criminals used student visas to bring individuals into Canada before illegally transporting them across the northern border.
Moreover, Singh’s testimony revealed that the smuggling route shifted from British Columbia to Minnesota, adapting to evade law enforcement.
In a disturbing twist, Singh’s deportation has been postponed in exchange for his testimony, raising serious questions about the justice system’s priorities.
The case also exposes the exploitation of illegal aliens once they enter the country. Some were forced to work in a Chicago restaurant chain for meager wages to pay off their debts to smugglers.
Additionally, the Biden administration’s failure to secure the borders has created a crisis that spans the entire country, endangering American lives and undermining national security.
