(TheProudRepublic.com) – Challenging the government’s secrecy and igniting a firestorm of speculation, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) recently suggested that mysterious drones over the Northeast might have origins in outer space.

In a recent podcast interview, Mace did not mince words when accusing the federal government of concealing information about the perplexing drones spotted over New Jersey.
“The government is doing what the government does,” Mace declared. “They’re not being forthcoming. They’re lying about the American people about these drones over New Jersey.”
Reports described the drones as massive, 8-10 feet in size, with blinking lights and lacking heat signatures.
Even more alarming, these mysterious craft have been spotted near military installations and critical infrastructure since mid-November, raising serious national security concerns.
Mace, known for her fierce advocacy for government transparency, is not backing down. She is demanding answers and pushing for a congressional hearing on the issue.
“At the very minimum, at the very least, Congress should get a brief on this so that we know that the DOD [Department of Defense] knows what’s really going on here,” she insisted.
“My concern is if it’s not a craft from outer space — because I think that has to be on the table, that has to be an option — is it our technology or is it Russia or Iran or China? Is there someone who is winning the arms race and are we behind?” she continued.
She added, “…I hope it’s not our adversaries or something from outside the universe because I have real concerns that if these drones are from Iran or China like some of the rumors have been, I pray that they’re ours, but we should also know why they’re out there.”
While the FBI, DoD, and DHS claim there is no national security threat, their dismissive attitude only fuels suspicion.
They have also attributed the sightings to “lawful commercial, hobbyist, and law enforcement drones,” as well as misidentified aircraft and stars.
Adding to the intrigue, President-elect Donald Trump mentioned the drones’ proximity to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, hinting at government knowledge of their origin.
Moreover, Mace is not alone in her quest for the truth. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano have joined the chorus calling for more transparency and action from the federal government.
Even Hollywood is taking notice, with actor Whoopi Goldberg commenting on the situation.
As the mystery deepens, a drone detection system is being deployed to New York. According to National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby, with over 5,000 drone sightings examined, the government’s continued insistence that there’s no threat only raises more questions.
“We deserve to have some answers here, because people are scared, and a lot of congressional offices are hearing people, they’re writing in with their concerns when they’re seeing these drones,” Mace said.
Whether these drones are from outer space, a foreign adversary, or the own government, Americans deserve the truth.
