Will it help though?
According to a Fox News report, a Biden adviser has revealed that the President will be boosting his campaigning ahead of the midterm elections. The purpose of Biden’s efforts is to “sharpen the contrast” between his administration and Republicans in Congress.
The adviser revealed that the American people can “expect more POTUS” in the coming months, as the President will be hitting the campaign trail in an attempt to speak “directly to the American people, both about what we’ve done and what we are doing.”
Biden’s key strategy throughout his campaign will be to “sharpen the contrast” between Democrats and Republicans.
The adviser also emphasized that “Election are about choices,” saying that on the one hand, “You have President Biden and Congressional Democrats who understand what people are going through and are working every day to bring down costs for the American people,” and on the other “you have Republicans who continue to stand in the way of that.”
To spread this message, Americans can expect “more travel” from Biden, according to the adviser.
For example, the adviser cited the President’s trips to Iowa, North Carolina, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington, where he touted the benefits of the bipartisan infrastructure law and efforts to lower prescription drug costs.
Earlier this month, White Press Secretary Jen Psaki noted that Biden would “be the president for all people” by traveling and discussing his agenda in “red, blue, and purple states.”
