Mark Levin, the famous author and television show host, recently spoke about President Joe Biden’s decision to sign a deal with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi which would enable General Electric to start producing jet engines along with state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics.
Levin pointed out that this deal would mean that for the first time in history, the Indian aerospace industry would be given the right to produce the country’s engines. He then questioned why Biden would make this choice, especially at a time when American manufacturing is suffering and they are trying to bring manufacturing back to the country.
He pointed out that while Biden continues to claim that he is pro-American and that he supports labor unions he is always doing things that push manufacturing out of America and into other countries. More important, jet engine technology in particular is one of the most important parts of aviation technology, and yet the Biden administration appears to be content with handing this type of technology over to the Indian government.
For India, the ability to manufacture jet engines could really help further develop the country’s airspace. However, that does not mean that the effects of this decision will also be positive for America.
Levin pointed out that the Biden family just ensured that one more country would have access to their technology. He then accused Biden and his family of being on someone’s “payroll.”
This is the first time in U.S. History that the country has allowed for technology that is of such high importance to be transferred to a different country.
