Can he go any lower than this?
On Friday (March 18), when Rasmussen Reports released its latest poll, it was surprising to see President Joe Biden’s approval rating dropping to levels last seen in January.
Since last August, Biden’s approval rating has been underwater, but on Friday, much to everyone’s surprise, his approval rating hit rock bottom.
In Rasmussen Reports “Presidential Tracking Poll,” only 38 percent of participants approved of Biden, with 60 percent saying they disapproved.
Most notably, 50 percent indicated they “strongly disapprove” of the President.
For one day in January, Biden’s approval rating dipped below 39 percent, as it is now. This is nine points below former President Donald Trump’s approval rating, which stood at 47 percent at this point in his Presidency.
Despite some polls indicating an uptick in Biden’s approval rating following the State of the Union address, Rasmussen’s poll ー conducted shortly after the SOTA ー point to the President’s address not being well received. For many, the President’s remarks failed to address pressing concerns from inflation to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
