(TheProudRepublic.com) – In a new mass shooting, three people were killed and three were wounded during a party in an industrial area in Denver, with the police failing to make any arrests immediately after the attack.

Around 1:37 a.m., Denver police rushed to the location at 12445 E. 39th St. after receiving reports of gunfire, The Denver Post reports.

Upon arrival, officers found an individual with gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police later found that five other victims had independently sought medical treatment at nearby hospitals.

Tragically, two of these individuals died from their injuries, while the remaining three victims are expected to recover fully.

The party took place inside an industrial storefront. Preliminary evidence collected by the police reveals that multiple firearms were used in the incident, according to Denver Police Cmdr. Matt Clark.

“We do have evidence of guns being fired both inside and outside of the unit and evidence that multiple guns were discharged in this incident,” Clark said, as cited by Denver7.

The particular unit hosting the party was rented to a business entity, but the police chief refrained from revealing its name, expressing uncertainty about the nature of its operations.

Local business proprietors in the vicinity conveyed their concerns to Denver7 about the safety measures at the industrial office complex, with many urging the complex’s management to bolster security.

“I hope everything is okay because I am not able to go in there. I’m worried about my business if it’s okay or not,” said Patricia Alvarez, a business owner.

The identities of the victims have yet to be disclosed by the police. Investigations are ongoing, with officers striving to piece together the events leading up to this tragic episode and the individuals involved. No arrests have been reported thus far.

According to a Fox News report, the police have evidence that the shots at the party were fired from two different guns. The investigators are working on identifying the causes of the shooting.
